Back Pressure
Back pressure regulators are used for upstream pressure regulation, accurately controlling the inlet pressures to any process. This range includes both diaphragm and piston sensed models.
Pressure Tech BP010
The BP010 is an elastomeric diaphragm-sensed back pressure regulator, offering sensitive control. Featuring a spring-loaded design, the BP010 offers a bolted bonnet for simplified servicing through its top access. In addition, its threaded bonnet comes as standard for optional panel mounting.
A sub-atmospheric version is also available which can be used to control a negative pressure upstream of the regulator - please ask for details.
Pressure Tech BP300
The BP300 is an Inconel® X750 diaphragm-sensed back pressure regulator.
Its compact and simple design makes it ideal for general purpose applications and for systems that do not require accurate control of upstream pressure.
Pressure Tech BP301
The BP301 is a piston-sensed back pressure regulator for accurate back pressure control on both gas (PCTFE seat) and liquid applications. It is available with flanged connections, perfect for systems that do not accept other options.
With a lightweight and compact design, in addition to a lower Cv of 0.1, the BP301 can control pressures of up to 150 bar (2,175 psi). Alternatively, with a higher Cv of 0.5, it can control up to 35 bar (510 psi).
Pressure Tech BP-HF251
The BP-HF251 is a piston-sensed high-flow back pressure regulator for gas or liquid applications. The liquid version includes a Tecasint® seat, whilst the gas version features PEEK™ seating.
With a balanced main valve as standard it provides stable control with a high level of accuracy under varying inlet pressures. Plus, its high flow coefficient ensures the BP-HF251 can also cope with higher flow rates.
Pressure Tech BP-HF301
The BP-HF301 is a piston-sensed high-flow back pressure regulator for gas or liquid applications. The liquid version includes a Tecasint® seat, whilst the gas version features PEEK™ seating.
With a balanced main valve as standard it provides stable control with a high level of accuracy under varying inlet pressures. Plus, its high flow coefficient ensures the BP-HF301 can also cope with higher flow rates.
Pressure Tech BP-LF540
The BP-LF540 is a compact piston-sensed low-flow back pressure regulator for gas or liquid applications, making it a versatile regulator across a range of medias. With a low flow coefficient of 0.1, it offers highly accurate back pressure control.
The BP-LF540 is available in an air-actuated design, making it perfect for semi or fully automated systems.
Pressure Tech BP-LF690
The BP-LF690 is a piston-sensed low-flow back pressure regulator for gas or liquid applications. The gas version includes a thermoplastic seat, whilst the liquid version features metal-to-metal seating. In addition to Stainless Steel, it is available in a range of materials including Titanium, Vespel® and Hastelloy®.
The BP-LF690 accurately controls inlet pressure and vents excess pressure back via the threaded 1/2” NPT/BSPP or 9/16” MP outlet port.
Pressure Tech BP-LF691
The BP-LF691 is a piston-sensed low-flow back pressure regulator for gas or liquid applications. As standard, the gas version includes a PEEK™ seat, whilst the liquid version features 316SS seating. Alternatively, other seats are available to suit your application including Titanium, Vespel® and Hastelloy®.
The BP-LF691 accurately controls inlet pressure and vents excess pressure back via the threaded 1/2” NPT/BSPP or 9/16” MP outlet port.
Pressure Tech BP-MF400
The BP-MF400 is a diaphragm-sensed medium-flow back pressure regulator for gas or liquid applications. The liquid version includes a PEEK™ seat, whilst the gas version features PCTFE seating.
This accurate regulator controls inlet pressure and vents excess pressure back via the threaded NPT or BSP outlet port of up to 1” diameter.
Pressure Tech BP-MF401
The BP-MF401 is a piston-sensed medium-flow back pressure regulator for gas or liquid applications with a balanced main valve The liquid version includes a PEEK™ seat, whilst the gas version features PCTFE seating.
This accurate regulator controls inlet pressure and vents excess pressure back via the threaded NPT or BSP outlet port of up to 1” diameter.
Pressure Tech BP-MF690-05
The BP-MF690 (05) is a piston-sensed medium-flow back pressure regulator for gas or liquid applications. The gas version includes a PEEK™ seat, whilst the liquid version features Hastelloy® seating for excellent protection from cavitation and positive shut-off on medium-flow applications.
The BP-MF690 (05) accurately controls inlet pressures of up to 414 bar (6,000 psi) and vents excess pressure back via the threaded NPT, BSP or MP outlet port.
Pressure Tech BP-MF690-15
The BP-MF690 (15) is a piston-sensed medium-flow back pressure regulator for gas or liquid applications. The gas version includes a PEEK™ seat, whilst the liquid version features ceramic seating for excellent protection from cavitation and positive shut-off on medium-flow applications.
The BP-MF690 (15) accurately controls inlet pressures of up to 300 bar (4,350 psi) and vents excess pressure back via the threaded NPT outlet port.
Pressure Tech BP-MF691-05
The BP-MF691 (05) is a piston-sensed medium-flow back pressure regulator for liquid applications. It includes Hastelloy® seating for excellent protection from cavitation and positive shut-off on medium-flow applications.
The BP-MF691 (05) accurately controls inlet pressures of up to 900 bar (13,050 psi) and vents excess pressure back via the threaded NPT or Medium Pressure outlet port.
Pressure Tech BIBS100
The BIBS100 is a negative-biased, dome-loaded back pressure regulator for gas applications. It offers fine adjustment of the bias spring for enhanced process control.
Its balanced main valve design minimises load on the seat and provides stable pressure control. In addition, servicing is simplified with easy access to the seat cartridge from the base of the regulator.
