Haldatec are pleased to announce that Pressure Tech have recently completed construction of a cycle test rig for their range of ceramic seated hydraulic regulators. This test rig has allowed Pressure Tech to perform accelerated long term testing of the regulators, seal shut-off tests, hydrostatic pressure tests and stability & repeatability under flowing conditions tests using Castrol Transaqua HT2 water/glycol over a range of pressures from 0~1034bar.
Pressure Tech have recently performed witnessed cycle testing over a period of 2 days with three of the major end users/manufacturers of subsea control equipment in Europe. These tests showed that the ceramic seated regulators continued to provide positive shut-off and control after performing 1000 cycles (greater than 20 years service on a typical control panel installation). These end users/manufacturers have now signed off on the ceramic seated regulators as fit for service in their subsea systems.

| Australian Oil & Gas Exhibition 2010 |
It was great to meet everyone who visited our stand at the recent Australian Oil and Gas Exhibition in Perth. We exhibited for the first time hand valves and manifolds from Phoenix Precision, which included mini valves and a mono flange. Phoenix Precision compliment very well our range of sampling and regulating equipment allowing us to broaden our scope of product based solutions. We were further delighted to have Steve Yorke-Robinson the managing director of Pressure Tech, who manufacture a brilliant range of regulators. Several enquiries were made about the ceramic trim regulator used in water-glycol and other wellhead applications. We look forward to cementing new relationships created at this show. |
