Welker and Haldatec provide wide range of Constant Pressure Sample Cylinders with additional special purpose standard cylinders. Sizes range from 25 cc to 76 litre, pressures to 103 MPa. Constant Pressure Cylinders are being increasingly used to address the problem of fugitive emissions in spot sampling situations and have been used for many years in continuous sampling applications. They have minimal dead space, eliminating or minimising the need to purge, are safe to transport, easily cleaned and maintained. There are a variety of construction options and accessories available. Constant Pressure Cylinders Used extensively for continuous sampling systems and increasingly for spot sampling. The product being sampled can be kept under pressure in the same state with no light ends being sacrificed. Sampling methods using a Constant Pressure Cylinder are easy and reliable, with less reliance on operator skills to ensure a proper sample is taken. They are particularly safe when transporting samples and are able to present analysers with a homogeneous sample at any pressure. They are also used for standard gas storage and transportation. High and low pressure cylinders are available in a variety of materials or finishes for chemical and corrosion resistance.
Standard Cylinders Standard cylinders are available. In addition, special purpose cylinders have been developed giving Industry access to world class products without the expense and lead-time associated with imported items.
Special Purpose Cylinders There are, in addition to conventional hydrocarbon collection and storage mthods some situations where special needs require addressing.
Cases and Holders To transport sample cylinders it is important that they are adequately protected in enclosures that are easily handled and are robust. The Welker range of cases for Constant Pressure and Standard cylinders provided security for the sample and prevent damage to the cylinder accessories such as QC connections, valves and gauges.
Design Approval Depending on the size and application sample cylinders are pressure vessels. As well as U.S. DOT approvals Welker cylinders have Australian Design Approval.
