Welker is now pleased to announce that they have received D.O.T. approval for the CP2-HP series constant pressure sample cylinders. The pressure rating for these cylinders is a working pressure of 3600 psi and the temperature range is -20 to +180 F. The maximumvolume is 1000cc.

The Welker CP-42GA constant pressure sample cylinder has been designed to hold a representative sample at the same condition as in the pipeline. An inert precharge gas holds the piston against the product at slightly above pipeline pressure, thus preventing a phase change to occur. All 7075-T6 aluminum construction allows for high strength as well as light weight.

The Welker CP-55EM transportable constant pressure cylinder is designed to hold an exact representative sample from the pipeline flowing conditions, and in the same state, excluding temperature. A sealed piston is utilized in a honed cylinder with a precharge gas on one side that is 10 - 20 psi (70  - 140 kPa) above pipeline pressure. This precharge keeps a constant pressure on the product being sampled into the product side of the cylinder, thus keeping it in exactly the same state of condition as it is in the pipeline. The cylinder’s physical size and weight make it easily transportable in any situation.

The Welker CP-66EM constant pressure sample cylinder is designed to hold a representative sample of product at exactly the same condition as in the pipeline.
