We are delighted to announce that Haldatec have been appointed Australian distributors for the Purgasa range of equipment.

This will enable Australian industries to access the unique SmartWatchTM leak detection and monitoring systems for relief valves, shut off valves, steam traps and similar devices.

These bolt-on devices will detect gas and vapour leaks and discharges using ultrasonic detection and transmit data using 4 wire cable or RF signal.

This will provide users with constant monitoring and data input that will; reduce fugitive emissions, eliminate unnecessary maintenance, provide data for CO2 auditing, minimise product loss.

Already one major refinery has invested in this system with great success.

Industry now has available prediction techniques for calculating the temperature of pipeline gas that is being presented to on-line analysers. Thus the risk has been taken out of having a liquid laden sample or a non representative sample, that can damage analysers or not make the analysis meaningful.

Haldatec are pleased to announce that Pressure Tech have recently completed construction of a cycle test rig for their range of ceramic seated hydraulic regulators.

This test rig has allowed Pressure Tech to perform witnessed, accelerated long term cycle testing of the regulators, for seal shut-off tests, hydrostatic pressure tests, stability & repeatability under flowing conditions. Performing 1000 cycles over 2 days, before three of the major end users/manufacturers of subsea control equipment. These end users/manufacturers have now signed off on the ceramic seated regulators as fit for service in their subsea systems.
